The Beauty in #Running

This past week I was able to stay back home with my parents in Clear Lake, IA. They are lucky enough to live on a lake and although it rained most of the time I was there, I was lucky enough to get in a few really gorgeous walks and runs. While there I saw deer, rabbits, geese, fish, turtles, snakes, squirrels, frogs, butterflies, countless kinds of birds... This trip was truly inspirational. Even though I am now battling an injury that is preventing me from running for a few weeks, this last trip was enough to re-energize me so that I will be ready to get back at it soon.
